- Accumulator
- A bet that combines multiple selections into one, with all selections needing to win for a payout.
- Asian Handicap
- A betting line that gives one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage to balance the chances, eliminating the draw option.
- Bankroll
- The total money you have set aside for betting, separate from your everyday expenses.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine different bets from the same match into one wager, like predicting the score and both teams to score.
- Cash Out
- The option to settle a bet early before the match ends, locking in a profit or reducing losses based on current odds.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, such as the home team winning or drawing.
- Each-Way
- A two-part bet where you back a team to win and also to place (finish in the top positions), with separate stakes for each part.
- Fold
- The number of selections in a multi-part bet, such as a 5-fold having five chosen outcomes.
- In-Play
- Betting on a match while it is happening, with odds that update in real time as the game progresses.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that bookmakers include in the odds, meaning you effectively bet slightly less than true odds.
- Moneyline
- A straightforward bet on which team will win the match, with no point spread or handicap involved.
- Odds Boost
- A promotion where the bookmaker increases the odds on a specific bet, offering higher potential payouts.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be more or less than a number set by the bookmaker.
- Parlay
- Another name for an accumulator, a single bet that links multiple selections together for a larger payout.
- Point Spread
- A handicap applied to one team to make the betting more even, common in many sports including football.
- Push
- When a bet ends in a tie, resulting in the stake being returned to the bettor with no loss or gain.
- Rollover

- Stake

- Underdog
